Secretary Bird Leopard Dracogriff

This was sooo fun to paint! This is another "sketch trade" for Da's sketch trade meme. ~SecndLogic simply asked for a dracogriff (a mixture of dragon and gryphon). I decided to make it a mix of a Secretary Bird and an African Leopard

I really liked how the sketch came out so I decided to color it and all. I am used to working with references and character sheets so its always good practice to get to create something my own.

I've done something similar with a griffin before


and do hope to do more in the future!
